Settings of GPRS & MMS XL on Nokia 6630,6670,6680,N70, N73 and anothers Nokia Series60

(a) Setting of GPRS XL:

Menu>Tools >Settings> Connection> Access points > Options> New access point> Use default settings> then input the following data:
Connection name: XL-GPRS or [XL-WAP]
Data bearer: packet data
Access point name: www.xlgprs.net
User name: xlgprs
Prompt password: No
Password: proxl
Authentication: Normal
Homepage: http://wap.lifeinhand.com or [http://wap.xl.co.id]

Then click on Options>Advanced settings> then input the following data:
Network type: IPv4
Phone IP address: Automatic
Name servers: Automatic
Proxy serv. address : 202.152.240.50
Proxy port number: 8080
then click on Back> Back. It's finished all steps to set XL-GPRS access point and ready to activated.

ACTIVATED XL-GPRS ACCESS POINT

MENU>Web>Options>Settings>Default access point> XL-GPRS>Back>Exit>Exit.

It's finished activation process of XL-GPRS access point and you can use to launch third mobile phone application that need connect to gprs network.



(b) Setting of MMS XL:

Menu>Tools >Settings> Connection> Access points > Options> New access point> Use default settings> then input the following data:
Connection name: XL-MMS
Data bearer: packet data
Access point name: www.xlmms.net
User name: xlgprs
Prompt password: No
Password: proxl
Authentication: Normal
Homepage: http://mmc.xl.net.id/servlets/mms

Then click on Options>Advanced settings> then input the following data:
Network type: IPv4
Phone IP address: Automatic
Name servers: Automatic
Proxy serv. address : 202.152.240.50
Proxy port number: 8080
then click on Back> Back. It's finished all steps to set XL-MMS access point and ready to activated.

ACTIVATED XL-MMS ACCESS POINT

MENU>Messaging>Options>Settings>Multimedia message> Access point in use> XL-MMS>Back>Back>Exit.

It's finished activation process of XL-MMS access point and you can use to send or receive MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service).
