Settings GPRS and MMS Simpati and Kartu As on Nokia 2610, 2626, 6300 and any others Nokia Series40

I will show you step by step to configure GPRS and MMS with prepaid Simpati and Kartu As card from TELKOMSEL on NOKIA series 40 (Nokia 2610, 2626, 6300 etc)

a.TSEL-GPRS

MENU- Settings- Configuration- Personal configuration settings- Options- Add new- Access point. Then input the following to make
TSEL-GPRS access point:

~Account name: TSEL-GPRS [or TSEL-INTERNET]
~Access point settings. Click on it then input the following data:
~Data bearer: Packet data
~Bearer settings. Click on it then input the following data:
Packet data access point: telkomsel [or internet]
Network type: IPv4
Authentication type: Normal
User name:wap
Password:wap


b. TSEL-WEB

MENU- Settings- Configuration- Personal configuration settings- Options- Add new- Web. Then input the following data to make TSEL-WEB:

*Account name: TSEL-WEB
*Homepage: http://wap.telkomsel.com
*User name: wap
*Password: wap
*Use preferred access point: No
*Access point settings. Click on it then input the following data:
*Proxy: Enabled
*Proxy address: 10.1.89.130
*Proxy port: 8000
*Data bearer: Packet data
*Bearer settings. Click on it then input the following data:
-Packet data access point: telkomsel [or internet]
-Network type: IPv4
-Authentication type: Normal
-User name: wap
-Password: wap



c. TSEL-MMS

MENU- Settings- Configuration- Personal configuration settings- Options- Add new- Multimedia msg. Then input the following data to make TSEL-MMS:

*Account name: TSEL-MMS
*Server address:http://mms.telkomsel.com
*Use preferred access point: No
*Access point settings. Click on it then input the following data:
*Proxy: Enabled
*Proxy address: 10.1.89.150
*Proxy port: 8000
*Data bearer: Packet data
*Bearer settings. Click on it then input the following data:
-Packet data access point: mms
-Network type: IPv4
-Authentication type: Normal
-User name: wap
-Password: wap

To activate personal configuration,follow these steps:

Menu- Settings- Configuration- Personal configuration settings. It will retrieve: TSEL-GPRS, TSEL-MMS, TSEL-WEB.

To activate all of three access points, follow these steps:
~point to TSEL-GPRS- Options- Activate. Then point to TSEL-MMS - Options - Activate. The last step, point to TSEL-WEB- Options - Activate.
~Then click on Menu - Options-Configuration. Then click on Default configuration settings and point to Personal config.-Options- Set as default then click on Activate default in all aplication. It's finished all steps of TSEL-GPRS and TSEL-MMS settings.

You can now use your Nokia 2610 or anothers Nokia Series40 to browse internet and sending or receiving MMS with prepaid Simpati or Kartu As card from TELKOMSEL.

If you use another prepaid card, you have to change the parameters to make configuration of GPRS and MMS. Because each operator use specific parameters to make the connections to their networks.
